READING ROOM OPEN HOUSE:  “Getting Ready”

Preparations for our 2010 Reading Room Open House (April 22 - 24) are underway. This year the Staff and Executive Board have authorized extra advertising expenses; however, we are asking individuals, who can, for donations to pay for the banner to be placed at the church like last year. This and a few other miscellaneous expenses are approximately $250.00.

When donating, please label your check or contribution envelope “Open House.” We thank you so much.

PS:  A new awning has been installed at our Reading Room.  Come and check it out!!

Sunday School student Robert Heins wishes to thank all who have donated to his Eagle Scout Project.   [If you are interested in donating to his civic project, please write checks payable to BSA Troop 314 and indicate “Robert Heins” on the Memo line.  Checks may be given to Sunday School Superintendent, Ellie Wrobel, or handed directly to Robert’s parents or the Clerk.]

As mentioned at the February Quarterly Membership Business Meeting, the Lighting Fund is still active.  We have collected a little over $10,000 and research is now in progress for new and improved lighting in the auditorium.  The goal set by members for the Lighting Fund is $20,000 so we are half way there!

Reminder to Committee Chairs:  please submit Annual Reports to the Clerk!

And a great big Thank You to our musicians for a wonderful Hymn Sing on Sunday, March 21.
